Is there any place in Hubpages where you can list a link back to one's own website? Or, is there a deliberate policy on Hubpages' part to make sure no resource box for linking back to your site is allowed?
You can add your own links - but only if you add unique content - from the looks of your scores all of your hubs are duplicate content?
You can put links back to your own site in your profile.
I'll show your hubs to my wife - she uses pencil a lot in her artwork.
Some of her work is on Red Bubble:
Yes, Remi's hub content also appears under his name at Ezine Articles, and would therefore account for a lower score. Shame, because the content looks excellent.
Sorry - Remi - I didn't mean to imply that the content wasn't your's - just that its published elsewhere on the web and google discounts duplicate content and therefore hubpages doesn't allow outward links on duplicate content to stop the spammers
Thanks Lissie, Eric, and Belinda for your help.
I understand. I'll try to put a link in my profile and see what happens.
I do indeed publish my articles in different places. Maybe I should just
stop that practice.
PS: I looked at Belinda's Art and I like it very much. Judging from your photograph your art seems to fit your apparent playful personality very well .

I was on another thread and someone said many people sign up on HubPages, but very few go on to write a substantial number of quality Hubs.I wonder why this is and what HubPages can do to encourage people to stay on and improve their Hubs, which seems to be what they want. All my Hubs were recently...

I was reading a Hub on Hubpages, and was concerned to read the advice that the content we use in our Hubs should be unique, not something we've posted elsewhere on the net.I started out on Helium and have nearly 200 articles on that site. When I joined HubPages, I saw it as a great opportunity to...
