Why is it that many people, in responding to forums, comment on old comments instead of joining the conversation at the newest entry?
They're probably looking at the threaded rather than chronological view.
I'm still not used to calling the user-made topics "forums." Why, in my day they were "threads" and we darn well called them that, and we used BBCode like real men and we said clever things like "tl;dr." Not like you kids today.

I would suggest dropping the “Threaded view” since it confuses people. I've noticed that those who use it tend to overlook important parts of a conversation in a thread. If only "Chronological View" were used, this would not only simplify things, but everyone involved would be in sync...

I saw a couple hubbers saying to others that they had only X amount of posts in the forums. Is there a quick way for me to see how many I have posted or do I just have to add them up? Are only forum moderators allowed to see this? Thanks for your answers.

I've come to hubPages from another writing site and I LOVE it here, except for one thing. I would prefer if responses to comments would show up directly UNDERthe comment being replied to. The way it is makes me feel...disconnected..from the person I am responding to. This seems fairly basic, no?
