Proving Science Wrong - Interstellar Travel: Why Extraterrestrials Really Could Be Here

Updated on May 31, 2013

Debunking Science

Most of the time science is heavily based on assumption, prior discoveries and knowledge that we already have which ultimately results in science becoming flawed. What do I mean by this? Well, let's consider the alleged extraterrestrial presence.

Debunkers (and even scientists) claim that there cannot be a real alien presence because they would have had to travel several million light-years in order to reach us and our current understanding of physics says that this is an impossibility. However, as you will soon learn this is hugely based on the limitation of human understanding due to our own perspective and assumption.

You do not have to be a scientist to understand how aliens really could be here and may have mastered inter-planetary space-travel, in fact you hardly need to be able to understand science at all. Let's suppose that a huge spacecraft the size of four football fields lands and a hundred extraterrestrial beings come out of the craft.

How did they get here?

Thinking about it logically the aliens would have to be much more technologically advanced than us in order to be utilizing such spacecraft and to be traveling such vast distances. Therefore it would also be highly likely that this civilization has had many more years, perhaps millions or billions of years, of evolution ahead of us responsible for their technological superiority and this is, usually, where scientific assumption or confirmation bias begins to kick in.

In order to understand how they may have got here we should consider what we need to do in order to master space-travel just as they have. If we wanted to travel to Andromeda this would take a long time... a very very long time! So, how would we plan it? Well, first we need to take into consideration the fact that none of us will still be alive when we get there - therefore we will need to reproduce on the spacecraft in order to keep our species alive and this will also have to be subject to population control which would actually be fairly easy to administer on an inter-galactic spacecraft.

In addition all humans born on the spacecraft would have to be subject to and brought up via the rules and regulations (ie the government) on that craft. Given the fact that we have been making such strong progress in the field of genetic engineering it's a possibility that an advanced extraterrestrial civilization could use cloning techniques aboard their craft in order to maintain the survival of their race which would make things even easier again to regulate.

The beings aboard the craft and the craft itself would have to be shielded against inter-galactic radiation and the simple answer to this is atomic alignment. The outer shell of the spacecraft would need it's atoms aligned and the shell would need to be many layers thick for extra protection. This could be done with atomically aligned titanium. The spacecraft and the civilization who live (and evolve) on it would then be subject to space-travel over the course of many million light-years whilst the offspring and bereavements of this civilization evolves over the course of an exponential number of generations.

Life On The Spacecraft

Environmental conditions would have to be artificially created aboard the craft for the purpose of growing food which can then be irradiated (our astronauts currently eat irradiated foods). Alongside this a reservoir system would be needed for a consistent water supply. There would also need to be many security procedures in place. Essentially living on the spacecraft would be a way of life for many of the beings on the craft who wouldn't know a life any different. They would be conditioned to their surroundings just as we are here on Earth.

Education and training would need to be carried out on the craft with strict rules, throughout each generation there would need to be a certain percentage of technicians, engineers, teachers, etc in order to keep the mission under control over the course of the generations to help combat any problems with technology, behaviour, science, etc. The spacecraft would simply be a giant city traveling almost endlessly through space whilst evolution takes it's course aboard that spacecraft.

Final Destination

As long as the aliens could prolong the survival of their race over many many generations whilst living aboard a spacecraft then there is no reason why that spacecraft cannot have travelled several million light-years through space. When the spacecraft eventually reaches it's final destination the last generation of beings brought up on that spacecraft would have been trained and conditioned by the government aboard the craft and would have become even more higher evolved than their predecessors who originally started their mission so many million light-years ago.
