It depends on how broadly you determine thought. The brain is processing information and solving problems all the time. Facial recognition for example, doesn't seem like thought until you try to write a computer program capable of replicating that capacity. Then you realize this process is a highly complex problem the brain has to solve. I would consider that thinking, (though some would argue that definition is too broad) and it doesn't require language.
