This is a question in physics, specifically, rotational dynamics, not a puzzle. A sphere is rotating freely in space. There are no external forces involved, and no electromagnetism. Initially, point A is the north rotational pole, and point B is the south rotational pole. If a force is applied to rotate Point A to the top of the drawing and point B to the bottom, and an opposite force is then applied to stop it's motion, when this is done, Point A will be at the top, and Point B will be at the bottom. But will the rotational axis remain (answer 1), or move (answer 2) or something else?
