* Don't wait for a perfect job, no such thing exists and the more time you spend idle, the less desirable you are to employers.
* A good job can become a great job if you use it to learn, network, deliberately try to help the company and get promoted or move to the type of position you really want.
* It isn't your employer's job to provide self actualization or personal validation - that's your job. And your day job is what they are paying you to do.
* Debt is slavery. If you are now out of college, don't jump into buying big items like a new car. Life like a starving student and aggressively pay down that debt.
