What is your opinion on the authenticity of the theory of evolution?

The theory of evolution is a theory developed by English naturalist Charles Darwin in 1859. The theory states that all species of organisms develop through natural selection, which heightens their capability to survive in an ever-changing environment.
Despite being largely accepted in our society due to its consistency and explanatory abilities, this theory is still doubted by vast amount of people, mainly due to the lack of evidence. I'm not referring mainly to the religious, but to the atheist skeptics as well.
I personally have no opinion on this matter, but I'd like to hear your thoughts.

Believe it or not, evolution can be observed. It happens at the microscopic level and is generally the reason we're constantly trying to fight certain diseases that appear to have mutated to be immune to certain drugs. Of course anthropologists and paleontologists are constantly digging up bones from various areas and from varying debts of the soil that show that some type of change had occurred within a particular species of millions of years.

Adaptation is not Evolution. Explain the Wolf and Dogs?

I don't know how you got Adaptation out of my comment. However Adaptation is a component of Evolution. Answer in Genesis is not a good source material. This is a better link: http://evolution.berkeley.edu/evolibrary/article/evo_31

I wouldn't use anything from Berkeley. Adaptation in the sense of different colors of skin to deal with different climates, not adaptation of the Darwin kind. There has been no evolution during recorded history. Zero.

I just won that argument....by the way here's a site on the Wolf and Dog...if that's what you are talking about.  http://www.nytimes.com/2013/11/14/scien … where.html

Dean, what argument was that. I told Mike, now you, the NY Times is not credible. There is a difference betw minor adaptation generating different breeds because it is mixing dna, we have no idea about how the different "Man" happened.

Ok, you're just moving the goal post again. I have a feeling I can tell you the sky is blue and you'd say it's red, despite all the evidence i show.

Wolves and Dogs comes down to "Selective Evolution" Dogs are bread by selecting a male and female with certain traits their offspring are then paired to bread in the same way. This shows how natural evolution works but with a helping hand.

    HELLO.
Christian here, and I do not believe in evolution. That's my opinion.

There are many Christians that believe in evolution. In fact, nearly all accepted it until an amateur Canadian "geologist" came up with creationism in the late 19th century.
