What Valentine's Day activity have you done with your students?

    I am a student teacher, and this is my first time celebrating Valentine's Day with my kids. I am wondering what activities have you done with your students? Any recommendation or suggestion? Thanks!

    Work your heart.
    Supply a “healthy heart basket” filled with valentine cards that describe a movement break. Students can take a trip to the basket…and can lead the class in a “heart healthy  movement break.”

    Get crafty.
    Use paper, doilies, beads, scissors, and yarn. Decorate the classroom with the artwork students create.

    Serve heart-healthy snacks.
    Encourage students to bring one red fruit from home, and make a Valentine’s Day fruit salad.
