School Superintendent Searches

    The search process for a new school superintendent is supposed to be a fact finding mission to choose the candidate that most reflects the district's morals and visions for the future.  Why does this process seem to alienate those who will most impacted? There is a fear of potential repercussions from the newly elected, which silences many staff and parents who have viable concerns.  How can the process be modified to allow these concerns to be heard without fear?

      Why are they searcing for a new superintendent?  Did the previous one quit, get fired? Fear of what? What is the problem/holdback?
