Is the premise of religion anti-success, anti-achievement, & anti-wealth? It seems that religions glorify abject struggle & being poor to the point of poverty. Religion tends to deride those who want to improve themselves & use their ultimate human potential to advance themselves intellectually & socioeconomically. Religion wants people to be powerless & poor so that the religious authorities can CONTROL them, keeping them ignorant of themselves. Religion actually wants people to be ignorant paupers. Your thoughts?
