Recycle - even if you have to sort the plastics, cans, and paper into separate bins.
Use less water. Wash all the kids in one bath, plan your yard to need less water.
Drive less. Take public transportation.
Teach your kids. Teach your parents. And. Educate your friends on best practices for the environment.
That's a very self centered question... "my mother earth", shouldn't it be, "our mother earth"?
