which Civilization is still alive form ancient to modern era?
There are a few cilvilisations you could put in this category - mayans, australian aborigines, estonians were the first Europeans. I am not sure if you mean the people or a civilisation as they were - the Mayans collapsed of course but the people live on. Ancient egyptians for example are in the same boat as the Mayans etc. Estonians still remain strong and proud and a larger percentage of aborigines still live close to the earth.
It depends on the definition of "civilization." According to one loose definition, Jewish civilization might be a good answer, as would, for example, that of the South Pacific region, or Sub-Saharan Africa.
Otherwise, Chinese civilization would also probably be an uncontroversial answer. South Asian civilization, too, insofar as some major cultural and religious and philosophical traditions have remained alive continuously in that region from ancient to modern times. European/ "western" would probably also apply.
Native American civilizations (Aztec, Incas, etc) and Arab/ Islamic civilization would not be good answers, since they originated after the ancient period ended.
The only civilization still around and thriving - I might add - since biblical times, is the Jewish people. Yes, the secularist mentioned this, but then didn't qualify this answer with exactly how ancient.
Any indigenous people who still exist, and are still actually being discovered because they have not assimilated with the modern age could also be considered as ancient civilizations which still survive.
