How do you spell it, grey or gray?
When I was in school it was taught to me as grey, but my kids tell me that it is spelled gray, even crayola agrees with them now. lol
It varies on where you live. Some people do not accept it, but others do. Some older books have it as "grey" and their new additions changed it to "gray". It's just an example of how our language is changing.
In the UK it is gray, but in the US it is grey. I suspect Canada follows the British spelling.
Its the other way round. Grey is UK English, Gray is American English
I agree, my middle name is Grey (Welsh ancestry) and I have always spelled it Grey, but I have seen it spelled Gray, maybe ones referrers to the color and the other to the name.
I think about this ALL the time. Lol. I'm very very glad to have read all these answers.
