i would like to know more details on the sheet metal manufacturing
like how can i select a process and how to select the material, and features like bend radius and its over all size
The sheet metal manufacturing process requires building metal machines and structures and this is something that most fabrication shops deal with.
The best instructions that I have found is one in which sheet metal fabrication starts with cutting the metal and burning the metal with a band saw, that provides even cutting as well as in the case of chop saws.
To create the bends at predetermined angles rolling machines are used for the rounding of edges. Lastly the parts are attached together by means of welding with an Oxy-acetylene torch then sand blasted for a finished product.
