What is the sound of one hand clapping?

    This is for you, Ptosis.
Answer, nothing, because there is no such thing -- the definition of clapping includes a clapper and a "clappee".

What is the sound of one hand clapping is a Zen Buddhist, koan, it is a, kick in the pants meditation exercise to take you out of mundane, dualistic, thought processes, to a revealation that runs along the lines of, it just is, and that answer, in itself, is mundane, as all answers are.

Ahhh... two hands clapping ... which hand is the clapper, which is the clappee? Hands are symmetrical mirror images of each other ... verily this is a puzzlement, grasshopper.

The sound of one handing clapping maybe a koan but I say
    that it
    is
    the sound
    of
    a hand
    slapped up against
    your
    face!

Don't  make me go 'KOAN' on your head, neck, face and chest area!
