Is the Moon eventually going to collide with earth, or escape from it?
We spend a lot of time worrying about rogue comets... maybe our real fear should be that giant hunk of green cheese we see up there every night.
no point worrying about any of it - if it happens there's nothing we can do about it anyway.
Actually the moon's orbit is increasing so eventually it will break away from Earths gravitational pull and drift off on its own.
Humans have existed for around 200,000 years. The time frame that you are talking about is many many times human existence. I don't think we have to worry much about it..
