what are the diffrerences between the british empire and the roman empire
One of the big ones was army composition...Romans were all about the land troops and formations and britian was all about their ships and owning the waters
The British Empire was the largest Empire in the world; the Roman Empire was somewhat smaller.
The British dominated during their time through control of the oceans with battleships, while the Romans typically controlled the land with their legions.
The British were a global Empire, spanning from Britain to India and Australia, while the Romans were all concentrated in one are around the Mediterranean.
Can't think of more right now, but there's a lot of differences.
