I can't remember this, I'm going back many years, I think educate is what the teacher does (if my memory serves me well, educate is rooted in a Greek verb, edukarte, something like, to drive in) learning is the effort from the pupil.
As I said, it was a long time ago when I did this stuff, the old memory is a bit shaky these days:-)
Hi Bijosh - I would like to think of education as what we are taught and learning as what we do for ourselves. Education is probably more formalised while learning need not be because it is what our mind imbibes. Education is usually cerebral while learning can span the mental, emotional and spiritual planes.
