It might well be - I live in Scotland and we had a kind of 'heat wave' back in April. If that's not strange I don't know what is. Of course we are into May and Scotland is back to normal for this time of the year - fleece jackets, thermal knickers etc.
No, if you listen to historians who are not on the Climate Change agenda, they say weather has always gone in cycles sometimes they seem extreme because in our own generation we have not experienced these extremes before.
