So far, only in my works of fiction, which tend to lead towards the metaphysical.  But what a discovery it would be!  Irrefutable proof of an Afterlife would reign as The Single Greatest Scientific Discovery Forevermore.

to me an afterlife is just a hope for those who waste this life and never enjoy it, a proof can never exist for such a life!!

none at all. it is one of those things that people believe because knowing that when they die , it's over scares the heck out of them.

Now it is true, most of it falls on what you believe, but I don't think we will ever have any confounding proof that an afterlife exists, at least scientifically that is. There are many people who claim to have seen the other side, either with a near death experience or some other event. A majority of them might have been proven right in the sense that they were not lying or they were not crazy or anything, but that's not going to be good enough for everybody. i personally do believe in an afterlife. But whether there is nothingness after we die, or not, doesn't matter to me. I'll just live my life right, enjoy it, and then when I die, I die. Whether I fall into a state of perpetual bliss depending on my actions, or I just die. Doesn't matter, just live your life right and treat people with love and kindness.

Matter and energy cannot be created or destroyed. Yea the matter of your body may go back to dirt after you death, however, the energy in your body must go somewhere else?? The spirit, the brain, the human energy you have must go somewere.

No, there is no proof, but there is strong evidence that we may have a natural afterlife.  One that is not supernatural, is supported by science, and is philosophically consistent.  It may not be what you expect.  Essentially, it is a moment, hopefully heavenly, that will last for an eternity--at least in your mind. For more on this, just do a web search on "natural afterlife."
