    Pedantic I know, but Pi is an irrational number, meaning you can never express it as a fraction (or ratio of integers) precisely. Nor can you express it as a decimal precisely: 3.142 is an approximation - yes it's accurate enough for most purposes but it's not exactly that. The digits can go on forever, so we use instead we the symbol for pi to represent it.

    we say usually 3.14... but it's an infinite number, like the E number.. as for me, it's a mathematical mystery...

    Probably a lot, if you could patent it.  Fortunately, it has been around for a long time.  So, we don't owe anybody royalties on it.
