Do you think Delhi, India is due for a major quake event in 2012?
Delhi NCR was hit by a moderate 5.2 magnitude earthquake today. It is the 19th earthquake since January 1, 2012.
I am pretty sure no one can answer that question Rajinder. The process is very complicated and unpredictable. Usually a massive release of energy causes the worst. But the plates can also just slowly rub along without a sudden burst or shear moment.
