Do you think in the next year California will be hit with a discent size earthquake?

The weather is really wierd lately. It will be 75F', a nice day then the next it's freezing and over cast. Then again sunny, the following day chilly and cold. Someone said this is earthquake weather, but I'm not sure.

I dont know about eathquake weather or if thats even a real thing but I defnitley think we're going to get a big one soon.  I know that we're over due for one and personally, i think that it would help by really shaking things up (of course pun intended!!!)

I agree. I've felt two small ones just in the last few weeks here in Pasadena. There have been several small shakers around here during the last four years. For that reason, I don't think the big one will hit here. Not enough pressure buildup.

There is no correlation between atmospheric weather and geological earthquakes.
When talking about the big one not even the experts are not sure. Every year I hear the prediction that it is coming. Yes, we are due for an earthquake but in a geological time frame that could be as you read this response or after we have all died from old age.
The best thing is to be prepared for when if it hits but don't spend your time stressing over it. There are more immediate concerns like your next trip on an LA freeway.
