It depends upon your future career goals, online degrees can be useful and valuable if pursued from a recognized open university. Also you have to be serious about your studies if you want to excel through online degree programs.

Online degrees can be a huge advantage to certain people, but bear in mind that studying for an online program requires a lot of self-motivation and commitment. There are people who prefer traditional classroom setting as compared to online training via the Internet. If you have the willpower to study hard, and take instructions online, by all means, go for an online! Before you apply, check the college's accreditation. Stevens-Henager offers online programs in business, graphic arts, healthcare, and IT. I had also looked into Stevens-Henager College accreditation. The college is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges, a reputed organization. A word of caution – never apply to colleges that are not accredited by a recognized accrediting body. Watch out for diploma mills!
