How do we make good use of gadgets for teaching English ?
Do you have any ideas how to use gadgets like cellphone, iPad, digital camera, etc for teaching English.
If you're speaking of teaching English to speakers of other languages, just about anything will work. A good lesson, for example, is to have students make a "suitcase" out of cardboard and fill it with paper clothing (or real clothing if they like). Then have them give a speech about a vacation they will be taking and show each piece of clothing and tell what it is, what it's for, etc.
Education today has declined dramatically. A new Dark Age of learning is now upon us, with poorly trained teachers who depend on gadgets and tricks to enliven a sleepy classroom of irresponsible students.

I would like to work abroad teaching English. But the number of options of courses to take to get a TEFL qualification seems a bit confusing. Is it better applying for the most expensive or is that not necessary?
