Will the United States have anymore manned space missions?

Do you think the United States will start a new space program sending humans into/onto other planets?

If it does happen, I don't believe it will happen for a long time. Consider this; President Bush had the Constellation Program, which aimed at putting us back on the moon, ultimately with a moon base. When President Obama came to power, Constellation was scrapped in favor of a Mars mission twenty years from now.

Both were unfunded mandates. Now, we're down a shuttle program, and the ISS only has a few more years left in it. Government space programs, at least in the US, seem to be on their way out. You should look into what SpaceX and the founders of Tesla motors are doing with last-generation rocket tech. They're attempting to make it more economical to build and launch rockets, and compare their work for what Henry Ford did with the automobile. Also, keep an eye on the European Space Agency, and the Russian Space Agency, Roscosmos (or Pococmoc). If a manned mission takes place anytime soon, I think it will be one of those organizations that does it.
