What is the meaning to life?

Personal feeling with no religious insight.
    If possible.

'Life is meaningless,' as everything else is meaningless. Is not it also true 'to live alone' is meaningless?  That is wny two, or more, are always better than one,  isn't it?  And this is why, perhaps, God has created man and everything else in the world, the heavens and the universe.

If you've been reading the book 'ecclesiastes'  where the word 'meaningless' has been repeated 38 times, you will understand how King Solomon, the wisest and wealthiest man in the world during his time, described how 'meaningless' life can be without God. If you do not agree with this, that's your right and prerogative.

Sooner, when you get really sick, lonely, weakened in health, somehow, you may realize the importance of this message in ecclesiastes, and the truth in God's words in Christ Jesus, that you may find lasting and true peace, joy and happiness in your heart and spirit.

In this short and temporal life, is it worth the thought?

I think they got that one right in the movie "City Slickers".  If you've not seen it, the meaning of life is just one thing and it's different for everybody.  If you choose to have no meaning in your life, then your life will be meaningless...as you wish!

Life is a crime you did not commit.
Life is like a prison where there's no escape.

I think the meaning of life is whatever meaning we give it—and we can literally give it any meaning that “feels right” to us. There’s a blank canvas in front of you. You are the artist of your life, and you are free to paint any picture that pleases you—and alter it at any time for that matter.

I found out that even pursuing happiness is temporal. What lasts is what you do for others.

I also think life is a science, in a sense that it is run on principles. If you apply them, they work for you. It runs on principles like: “give and it will be given back to you……”, “do to others what you would like others to do to you…”, and “……sow and you will reap…..”

Life is so meaningful when treated with dignity and honor.

Is it just for our own experiences of self-fulfillment?

Why is everyone so concerned with how everyone else lives?

The meaning of life in my opinion is survival, reproduction, exploration, and using your gifts and talents to serve others.
