Do you believe in a company's slogan or do you believe they lie in their slogan?
Save money, Live better is walmart's slogan.
Expect more, Pay Less is Target's slogan
The Pharmacy America trusts is Walgreens slogan
I don't think slogans are lies. At least I personally don't consider them lies. I just see them as an advertising gimick, a catch phrase, that sounds good. As such, I don't believe or disbelieve them. Usually I just ignore them. If I'm going to like or dislike a company, it's going to be on it's own merits and my own experience with that company.
Ok, I see your point. But don't you think company's should be held accountable for false slogans? After all it would be consider false advertising. Thanks again for your comment.
If it could be proven that the slogan was very misleading, and that the company intended to mislead customers, then companies should be held accountable. But you can't hold all companies accountable for every ad campaign. They need to advertise.
