1. Have a Thesis Statement
Professors love thesis statements. Sell your essay on the first paragraph! Work on a good thesis statement that describes how you're going to answer the question - that way the professor know what to look for. Without that, the reading becomes massive.
2. Be concise
Pick 3-5 points from the topic you need to write about and focus on them.
