Is it difficult to go back to school after being out for so long?

I've recently decided to go back to school since, after graduating with a bachelors over a year ago, I haven't found a job utilizing my degree or any of the skills I gained. I'm afraid of struggling to fit school back into my life again. Have any of you gone back to school? Was it difficult for you?

I went back to school at 30.  I was a mother of two daughters.  I didn't really find it hard to fit in because I was concentrated on the lessons, I had little time for friendship.  Of course, I was always friendly if someone stopped to speak with me; but, I always make the conversations as short as possible.

It was quite humourous because at night, the girls and I would sit at the kitchen table together and do our homework.

I encourage you to go back.

Oh I'm going back. I just applied today so I'm hoping to hear back soon smile I'm just concerned about fitting it in my schedule since I'm so used to not being in school now.

I went back last year to a very intense study, and no, it wasn't hard because I was highly motivated.  IMHO it doesn't matter how long you've been away.  I knew what I was there for, and I jumped right in, in fact it was a pleasure.  Follow your heart and go for it!!!
