What language will be the most commonly used language in the twenty-second century?
Probably a close three-way tie among English, Spanish, and Mandarin just as it is in the 21st century.
I would say Chinese Mandarin because by the 21st century China will have overtaken the U.S. and probably become the only superpower in the world. Just like the U.S. has in the past 150 years, China will have spread its power and influence all over the world.
