How do flowers and leaves follow the sun?
Not all plants have the ability to track the sun. Some plants are heliotropic or diaheliotropic, which means they position their leaves perpendicular to the sun, so that their leaves receive the most sun for photosynthesis. Paraheliotropic plants may position their leaves to avoid the sun.
