What’s makes a huge crowd to form when a few people stop to watch an insignificant triviality?
Even though, what is being watched by "the few people," appears to be an insignificant triviality, it becomes significant when the huge crowd's behavior deems it so. Even a minor traffic accident, that causes drivers to "rubber-neck," as they pass by, can cause traffic to back up for miles during a Friday afternoon, end of the work day. Human behavior is a difficult thing to talk about in a short paragraph, like the one that I am writing here, that sheds very little light on a very complex human behavior. Thanks for asking this question, however.

Is it more fun to watch movies at the theater, or at home with a huge tub of popcorn?

What makes you stand out from the crowd?
