The technical dialog in the show"House" which is above my intellect gives me a sense of respect for the show.I'd rather watch a show above my head than indentifying with a show that is affable;)

The wire was my favorite show as it had an incredible flowing story. The main reason I fall out with tv shows or films is that I don't feel empathy towards the characters, but in the wire I felt something for them throughout. I realised that the guys that drove me mad or I disliked were doing an incredible job as I was emotionally involved.

    Hi,

Mine is 'Most Haunted' a UK show. Basically it had everything for me. If the spirits were hiding or just not there, then you could watch the beautiful locations and wildlife as well as listening to the history of the area - so there was no way to loose. Also it was serious, factual and incredibly funny. A great all round programme.

My favorite TV shows are ones that I can relate to or represent something that I wish I had done or could do. I like Bones and NCIS and CSI because I used to be a science major and I am still interested in how science saves lives and solves crimes. I like How I met Your Mother because I have a group of friends just like them and it relates to me on a personal level and its hilarious. Then there are shows like Dexter that I watch because the stories are interesting and it makes me think about right versus wrong and is it really a black and white issue.

I think good tv is in the writing. A good concept can drown in bad writing. So whatever the niche market is for a show if they have good production and writing I will probably watch it. I am so sick of crap like The Hills and Jersey Shore. It's not reality it's a catastrophe.

In some cases, when office mates discuss on a show and decide to give it a try. Watching the show give me more content to interact with co-office workers when we are having time breaks.

My favorite is "NCIS". The show has a perfect mix of action and comedy. I am the worst at trying to solve the case along with the story and am wrong most of the time. It is definitely one that keeps me coming back.

My two most favorite shows that I love to watch are The Cosby Show and House of Payne. Those two shows even though produced may years apart do the same thing. They both emphasize the importance of togetherness of a family, they both teach important values of life especially spiritual and there is a humorous side of life that develops out of the life lessons that they teach with each scenario.
