What are the prejudices about childfree, small, and very small families do people from large to

very large families hold?   It seems that people from large to very large families have the idea of those from childfree, small, and very small families do not have complete lives.   They further claim that they are less responsible people.   They assert that childfree people are selfish because they choose not to have children.   They maintain that children from small families are too close to their parents and their parents interfere with their lives.   They fail to understand that parents are to interact with their children. They JUST  DON'T understand-they are NOT close to their parents!

I don't think all people from large families hold those views.  Some people with many siblings are rather envious of only children who get spoiled with undivided attention. And many from large families choose to be childfree themselves as adults. It's bad to generalize because similar experiences can shape people in different ways.

While what you have stated is true, many people in large families believe that their childhood was better than those from small families. They struggled and had a very hard life and believe that those with easier childhoods-spoiled.

Many people in many situations believe many things. It seems like you have a personal issue, and are generalizing the entirety of society as a result.

I have seen this attitude by many people from large families from coworkers, mere acquaintances, even relatives.   They believe that those from small families are soft because they were brought up in more affluent socioeconomic circumstances.

Rash generalization. I am from a huge family and dont feel this way about any of the statements you have made. This comment seems to be in line with everything in society today. A complete generalization of a huge group of people. All these kinds of questions do, is divide people. If everyone thought like this about every difference, then nobody would ever get along with anyone else.

Some people with small families also view others with small families strangely. That means absolutely nothing. The only difference is in fact the facts such as, the family is smaller, the wages of the parents will be split less per person. Parents do need to spend more time on children in a bigger family to insure they get the same amount of love and attention as a child in a smaller family would. Just the facts. Why they are relevant to you, or why you are trying to divide people, I am unsure.

Of course not all.   However, in my encounters, the ones who are the most vociferous regarding the childfree and small family lifestyle were mostly those from large to very large families. From the large family blogs and people I know inc. relatives.
