Is it wrong to steal money from a person who makes money in an illegal manner?
What’s your opinion about such an act?
As the saying goes, "two wrongs don't make a right"
If you steal from a thief, that makes you one also.
I totally agree with Stacie. She took the words right out of my mouth.
If one steals from someone who makes money illegally then you now have two people making money illegally. No, it is not right to steal. Period.
It is wrong to steal no matter where the money come from. Eventually, one day someone will find out and both are going to jail.If you take the money.
I agree with several of the others. Stealing is wrong, regardless of where the person picked to be robbed got his money.
Stealing from anyone is wrong no matter who you're stealing it from.
Yes! It absolutely is wrong to steal money from someone. It doesn't matter how they got the money, whether it was legitimate or not. Stealing is stealing, and stealing is morally wrong. Karma will still come back and get you.
Then there's the issue that stealing is illegal, so you would also be making money illegally as well.
Is it wrong? Sure. Depending on the way they make it, it's probally a good way to get smoked in the back of the head also. Now if I saw a suitcase with 3 million in cash, and a very small window of getting caught? Check you out on some white sand beach somewhere with a fruity little drink with an umbrella in it :0)
In other words it would have to really, really be worth it.
Thats why I never understood like 3 strike felons that like rob a liquor store get $36 and life in prison. My as well go for the bank, right?
I think so because the money you are stealing does not being to either of you. If you do the same thing, it's like you are not different from him/her.
Two wrongs don't make it right. It is wrong to steal for a start. I'd rather have nothing than to steal someone's money no matter where they get it from.
yes, if we do that than what will be the difference between the both person.
Stealing is never the right thing to do. Why not turn the person in that you know stole the money in the first place and then maybe the original owner would get their money back.
Of course, making money illegally does not necessarily mean it was stolen. It might also be counterfeited, drug money, protection money, blackmail money etc... The point being, it is not money they are legally entitled to.
Who, then, is legally entitled to the money? If it is counterfeited, nobody. If it has been gained from others through nefarious means, then it should go back to whom it was illegally taken from.
Of course, the problem is the word 'steal'; defined as taking without permission or legal right without intending to return it. But what if one takes back the money from criminals and returns it to it's original owners, or, to the police; would that then mean two wrongs just made a right. Robin hood operated along the same lines.
What if you should take back (steal) the money from the crims' and hand it in to the police, but, the police can't find the original owner and so return it to you (unlikely but possible)... should you then return it to the criminals? I think not.
Yes it's wrong- because no one wants to be robbed. ALSO, I do not consider "stealing" as my first thought of illegally earned money. There's lots of ways for money to be earned illegally. In all technicality, if you babysit kids, are given money for it, and do not pay your taxes on it, that's illegally earned money food for thought hahaha.
Though you may not feel any sympathy for such a person, stealing is stealing. If you murdered a serial killer in cold blood, it's still considered murder. Yes it's wrong.
Definitely wrong, two wrongs don't make a right. Although the victim may deserve it.
it is wrong to employ tactics that are not within the ambit of the law to get justice for whatever crime committed that included stealing from criminals who themselves stole to get rich.
Having said that, I'll state it in clear terms that stealing is stealing, and any Robin-Hood like moves by a person to steal from those making it illegally either for yourself or others can never be an acceptable behavior.
Its like stealing money from a drug kingpin like Escobar and giving the proceeds to those who need it; or stealing blood diamond money from Liberian Dictator Charles Taylor either for yourself or others even if it is for a worthy cause.
So the summation here is this; it is wrong stealing from those illegal money makers, when you do that yo have stooped low to their level.

Hoopla. Most of the people these days are trying so hard to be politically correct and refused to call a person who entered the United States illegally an "Illegal Alien" for fear of being branded as "racist". For me, if you're illegal, you are illegal. No sugar coating, no...

I support the Arizona Immigration Law and I'll gladly tell you why....I've read it. All of it. I've been slammed from every corner for supporting profiling. I always ask my critic, "Have you read the law?" the answer is usually a resounding yes yet, when I ask them...
