How to cope with our subconscious?
Not only S. Freud but many other psychologists and psychotherapists say that we subconsciously “attract” unwanted situations in our life (primarily if we have experienced some trauma in childhood). Is it possible that our subconscious “work against us”? Are techniques like focusing and deep breathing helpful?
Meditation and consciously learning to direct thoughts in new ways is immensely helpful for undoing subconscious programming. Self-hypnosis is also beneficial because it replaces old programming with new positive suggestions. Over time, you can really notice a difference.
