Does bullying occur in your child's school?
Are you aware of bullying at your child's school? Do you handle it with administration or ignore it?
I don't have a child of my own, but I have two young cousins in elementary school. Only one has ever complained to me of bullying. It was because he never had money for school lunch and always brought his own from home. I had a talk with the other boy's mother and she immediately explained to her son that it wasn't okay to act that way. She even created a plan to educate the students about the poor and organized a food drive for our local homeless shelter at the next PTA meeting. During my school years, any act of bullying that was noticed was immediately attended to by the principals or teachers. Many parents brought things to directly to the administration. If your child is having problems, I strongly suggest speaking to the other child's parents or the administration.
