Do you know what to ask a doctor about your disease and options for treatment?
Generally, if I have a problem, I already know SOMETHING about it through researching on the internet. BUT I can be wrong, so I talk to the doctor by giving my symptoms and letting them advise me. If their diagnosis is similar to what I thought I had, then I have a set of questions already available to ask them. If their diagnosis is different, I listen, ask questions if I can and then go away to research it again on CREDIBLE sources on the internet, or in books to find out all I can.
