How do you know that it couldn't?   You question implies that this ere woodcheck is unable to chuck wood but maybe it can...well, twigs anyway.  Which would mean that it can chuck an infinite amount of wood for an infinite time..We don't know how long this wood chuck might be chucking wood because we don't know how long it might live.

Now, if it was a woodpecker rather than a woodchuck we could ascetain how many trees it would peck down by doing a scientific study on how long it takes to get through a typical tree then estimating how many trees it would peck through over the average lifetime of a woodpecker.  But we're not talking about woodpeckers here but woodchucks.

But I've raved on long enough so I'm going to chuck the whole thing and answer another question.

A woodchuck would chuck all the wood he could if a woodchuck could chuck wood." The amount of wood that woodchucks would chuck on a given day varies greatly with the individual woodchuck. According to a Wall Street Journal article, New York State wildlife expert Richard Thomas found that a woodchuck could chuck around 35 cubic feet of dirt in the course of digging a burrow.
Thomas reasoned that if a woodchuck could chuck wood, he would chuck an amount equal to 700 pounds!
Although one should perhaps factor in:
The woodchuck's desire to chuck said wood.
The woodchuck's need to chuck the aforementioned wood.
The woodchuck's ability to chuck the wood when it is a woodchuck.
Based on a Geico commercial that use to air; you may want to factor in an angry farmer "taking out" the woodchuck chucking wood; thus, cutting the chucking off most abruptly...
