What exactly is vulnerability?
I'm wondering if it's good or bad to allow yourself to be vulnerable.
Does it mean you're weak?
No, it takes courage to be vulnerable.
Being vulnerable means you are willing to stand at center stage being your true self without wearing any masks, being honest about your wants and needs, not holding back. It's trusting that in the end everything will work out. Being vulnerable is taking a chance.
You can't have a large measure of success in life if you're not willing to take risks and move out from the pack. It's the leaders, stars, and "standouts" who are the most vulnerable to criticism. The meek and those who prefer to hide in the shadows of the pack with the conformist lack the courage to put themselves in a vulnerable position to win or lose it all. That's why it's crowded at the bottom.
It's also impossible to truly be "in love" with someone without being vulnerable. You're not "all in" if you can just walk away without any heartache. In fact it takes more courage to be vulnerable enough to fall "in love" a second or third time.
Most people are (afraid) to be vulnerable!

"My jump is not high enough, my turns aren't perfect, I can't get my leg behind my ear.' Please don't do that. Sometimes there's an obsession with technique that can kill your best impulses. But communicating with an art form means being vulnerable. Being imperfect. And most of the time this...
