Do you think Artificial intelligence has the potential to be mainstream around the globe?
I mean is it possible that it would be so common after a decade or so between the humans? Will we all actually surrender to it?
It is becoming common in data mining, monitoring people's activities online, studying medical records of millions to come up with diagnoses for cases doctors can't diagnose.
That does not mean, however, artificial intelligences should or would be given decision making authority. They are, after all, programmed by people with the values people assign to various objectives.
