How common is dark brown hair and blue eyes?
Is it rare to have dark brown hair with blue eyes? My eyes are blue with a green circle around the pupil. Also, nobody in my family that I know of has blue eyes except my younger brother (he has dirty blonde hair) and mt great grandma, but I don't know what color her hair used to be. Is my combination rare/uncommon?
I think it's all on the genes and depends on your heritage and DNA. I have read that eye color and hair color are not directly related. I also read that people from Irish descent tend to have light eyes and dark hair.

I don't know how common (in percentage) it is, but it is not unusual, because even "brown hair / brown eyed" can carry the gene for blue eyes.
Fran Sinatra had dark hair, but was also called "Old Blue Eyes" because of his eye color.
