To all Blacks out there, what are the MAIN COMPONENTS that cause so many American Blacks to have
the slave mentality psychologically, socioculturally, & socioeconomically as opposed to Caribbean Blacks and African Blacks who tend to prosper in America?
To say that blacks or african americans don't prosper as much as caribbean/africans is be far from the truth. "I am a black woman, not all black women." Looking at a few african americans who choose not to do anything with their life and stating that they are all the same is generalization. Individuals in my family (6 have bachelors degrees) (4 have masters) (1 doctor) and we are all american born. We are so african-american that we have photos of my grandmother near slave homes and have our last name at that town hall. There are many examples of african-americans that have prospered Beyonce and Oprah. If they are not prosperous I don't know who is prosperous.
