Can animals be used to predict earthquakes?
Do you think that animals can be used to predict earthquakes?
I grew up in the countryside where we frequently had earthquakes. The animals do know that an earthquake is about to occur, I believe its because they can feel the very minor tremors just before the bigger tremors that we feel. Usually we knew there was about to be one because everything would go quiet, even the birds would stop singing and tweeting. Unfortunately I don't think that they would be a good indicator because they usually only sense it a short time before the bigger one hits.
