If nothing goes at the velocity of light, how can a black hole also pull light into itself?
as we know that light is an electromagnetic wave and consists of photons. but, basically Photons always travel at the speed of light, but they lose energy when travelling out of a gravitational field and appear to be redder to an external observer. The stronger the gravitational field, the more energy the photons lose because of this gravitational redshift. The extreme case is a black hole where photons from within a certain radius lose all their energy and become invisible. Indeed, light in the vicinity of such strong gravitational fields exhibits quite bizarre behavior. I hope amish it will help you.
Because the gravitational field around a black hole is so powerful that it pulls photons out of their trajectories and into the event horizon and can no longer escape. That's why their accretion disks are so bright, yet the objects themselves are so dark.

Having a wondering about it moment. I don't have an answer. That black hole at the center of our universe may not exert its pull upon the earth as much as it does on our sun. Our sun revolves around it. So it does pull upon the sun. Would...

Suppose a light ray travelling near a black hole, which has so much gravity that the escape velocity is twice the speed of light, got caught in its gravitational field. Will the light travel at the speed of light or travel at double the speed of light?Similarly what happen to other objects...

If you're in a car which is on the speed of light, what happens when you turn on the headlights?

the new science deals in concepts like relativity and quantum, which are irrational. it says about annihilation by black holes. it says everything "created" from singularity out of nothing. it says virtual particles collide.will it ask as to "believe" in all these and worship...
