Are religious topics allowed, such as activities for a preschooler to learn a part of the Bible?
I see it isn't in the restricted content, but it could be severely controversial. I wouldn't be posting any of the sensitive topics (like abortion, homosexuality, etc) as it would be catered for preschool education. More about activities to teach morality and such?
they do have a religious section for hubs so it would be fine. And it would be a great topic for preschoolers and am sure many Christian parents would be interested in this. You can probably expand to pre-teens, teenagers and young adults.
Thank you Lois! Do you think categorizing it more education (for preschool) or religion is more appropriate?
preschooler are not allowed to learn the bible here in malaysia because this is a muslim country. Only muslim class are conducted for preschooler malay students.
Wow! That is so interesting! Here in America, we can learn/teach any age child any religion we wish for them to be aware exists. I personally am Christian and teach my daughter the Bible, but I just purchased a world-religion book.

How do I keep my overactive preschooler busy and engaged? My biggest challenge with my soon to be three years old is keeping her busy. She is active and creative but needs me to get involved at all times which eventually eats up my ME time.

It is pretty hard to say much on the religious forum that has real meaning. It is the same loaded topics produced by a handful of people who already have a fixed point of view. That closes the possibility of any exchange of information taking place.

Many traditional and fundamentalist religious parents raise their children to what is tantamount to abuse. Such children are brainwashed into thinking that the only legitimate and acceptable construct is the religious culture. They are shielded from what is considered to be secular and progressive...

Have you ever written on a topic you had no idea was controversial only to look at your comment notifications one day to discover a storm of angry, possibly foul comments? Or have you written about something you thought was mildly controversial in a 'less filling' vs. 'tastes great' kind of...
