What is your PSYCHOLOGICAL assessment of people who REFUSE to acknowledge that they are ever wrong,
never admitting their mistakes, and always rationalizing that they are ALWAYS RIGHT?
I find these types of people to be very interesting for some reason. They have a pathological NEED to be right all the time! I have a son and ex-husband that both absolutely refuse to admit they are ever wrong about anything.
Most of the time, they are correct, but no one can be 100% right, 100% of the time. Yet, these types of personalities cannot accept the fact that they can ever be wrong about anything.
So, my assessment is that it may be genetic as well as psychological. It's something that I don't quite understand since I am a logical thinker and logic dictates a margin of error for pretty much everything. Perfection just doesn't exist in nature, but these types of people do believe that they are perfect.
That they're stupid. I mean, if you don't have a brain and are wrong all the time, go figure. If you don't have a brain and think you're right all the time well go figure too because why would you know what you don't know. But if you're capable of using reason to justify your stupidity but not correct it, then that's stupid times stupid. Stupid^2. A category for a word which I rarely use and that is idiot. A person rather than a thing which is defined by stupidity and such people are incredibly destructive when they have some kind of power over others.
Such people are highly arrogant and their personality possesses narcissistic traits.
