Are you an EMPIRICIST, RATIONALIST, IDEALIST, or a SENTIMENTALIST?
I am all and none (hate labels, why can't we just accept people as being THEMSELVES with this way of thinking instead of labeling it?).
I'm an idealist.
On the philosophical side:
As a kid I remember wondering if my blue or yellow is the same as another persons blue or yellow. I remember staring at myself the mirror trying to understand why my feelings and thoughts about myself was so different about my feelings and thoughts about others since I'm just another person. I became aware that my mind and perception was a thing that I looked through and which painted a picture of reality for me. Then I read stuff about just that.
The other side:
I'm a perfectionist and find it hard to take pleasure in anything without the pursuit of perfection as a primary goal. Also as a kid I would dream about utopian ideas and what the perfect person would be like. I've grown since then but these characteristics are yet to leave me. I wish they would.
