How can we change the mindset of people who are racist to not teach their children the same ideals?

We can't. Trust me, I have tried! My coworkers are very biased. I tried pretty much everything I could think of. To them (3 people) it is unfathomable how the lovely children in your photo could be equal. I touched up on their religion, humanities, literally begging for understanding. The BLM movement seems to have brought out the quiet racists and we are more aware now, then ever before that racism is still kicking. "God wouldn't want you to hate someone because of their skin color, and we are all human" just does not work.

A big one. Mindsets usually do have to be transformed to create change. I once asked a Swami what I needed to do to maintain my celebacy, and he said that I had to change my angle of vision. (Change my mindset)

Usually, it is the same old way. One of Love and yes, it is very slow, but certain. Things can crop up to do this, like ill health, acts of kindness, bereavement and a few more but generally, for the most part, humans remain what they are.

I once nursed a man who is probably in heaven, God bless him. It was a very long time ago, and he was an 'important' caucasion. When we are sick, we sometimes become helpless, and so I had to look after him. When he was leaving, some three weeks later, he told me that he had never been nursed by a black man.

He further stated that he was surprised how kind I was, and wanted to be my friend. He even left some money for the hospital. This is an example of the power of Love.

My change of mindset came by simply reading a book. I went through a series of profound experiences while reading it, and I was totally transformed.

Love is the safest way I know. Never force. They are God's children, not ours. In life, there are usually so many forces at play! We may not see them, but our Lord knows. Much peace.
